In the sculptor video it explained the many different processes that sculptor go through in order to create what they do. There are many different materials they can use to make their sculptures. Certain materials can serve certain purposes that the sculpture may be used.
In the glass and ceramics video it talked about the process on how glass is made and its uses in the world around us. There are many different steps in creating glass starting with silica sand. Ceramics are made mainly through the heating of clay. Glass is used in many different things around us.
The book explained the processes as well but there is only so much you can do in a book. The videos did what the book couldn't and showed us the processes.
