Art Visit 2

Step 1
David Adamo Exhibition

Gallery for small sculpture
Step2
The lighting was not extremely bright but enough to light the whole room and everything in it especially the sculptures.
The walls were white and grey stone with pillars running throughout and stone floors. Movement through the space a good and easy as there is lots of room.
Step 3
The artwork was just placed on the ground toward the center of the room.  All of the sculptures appear to be made of the same type of wood and chiseled the same way. The artworks were carved into different shapes and sizes. The art work is placed a couple feet from each other.

Red Cedar (wood)
The artist carved and chiseled away the wood to create this piece. I do not see any direct meaning to it as it is an odd shape.

Red Cedar
Again he chiseled away unwanted wood the create the  shape desired. The sculpture is a spiral shape and almost looks like at some point it was one whole tree.

Red Cedar
This piece looks as if termites or beavers were the ones who carved it. Again I don't see a direct meaning but is very interesting. The way this artists carves the wood makes it look as if it is natural even though it is not.
